EasyGreen is a Greek prefabricated home company founded to bring a more organised, high-quality and client-focused approach to home construction.
How we started
EasyGreen was founded in 2011 by civil engineer Thanasis Voulgaris and Nikos Kaloutas, both with extensive experience in construction and dry construction systems.
Our journey began with the import of prefabricated homes from Germany, where we gained first-hand experience of a different approach to homebuilding: rigorous organisation, quality control and construction within a controlled environment.
Building on this expertise and adapting it to the requirements of the Greek market, we gradually developed our own production facilities. Today, EasyGreen manufactures prefabricated homes with a high degree of factory completion.
How we work as a prefabricated home company
EasyGreen operates as a vertically integrated technical company, bringing together multidisciplinary engineers, experienced technicians, factory production and construction management.
Each project:
- is designed by qualified engineers
- is manufactured in our factory
- follows a clearly defined construction process
- progresses according to an agreed project timeline
From the outset, the client knows what will happen, when it will happen and who is responsible at every stage.
What “true prefabrication” means to us
For us, prefabrication is more than a timber or steel structural frame.
It means completing as much of the home as possible in our factory, where every stage can be planned, coordinated and quality-controlled.
At the EasyGreen factory:
- we install windows and exterior doors
- we complete the external thermal insulation and exterior finishes
- we install the plasterboard linings
- we install plumbing pipework and electrical conduits and boxes
Subject to project size, site accessibility and weather conditions, the main structure can be assembled and made weather-protected in as little as one working day.
Why this makes the difference
Imagine if your car were not manufactured in a modern factory, but assembled piece by piece outdoors and exposed to changing weather conditions.
The same principle applies to a home.
Factory production allows key construction stages to take place in a controlled environment, reducing exposure to weather, site constraints and inconsistent on-site decisions.
This is the difference between a home manufactured through a coordinated process and one built primarily through conventional on-site methods.
